Creative Retailer: June 2023 Issue
Whether you are a longtime subscriber to Creative Retailer or this is your first time to read an issue, we’re glad you’re here. Running a small business can be challenging, but Creative Retailer (formerly American Quilt Retailer) is here to be your trusted resource in business information. From the first issue of American Quilt Retailer in 1991, founder Susan Fuquay knew how important it was to help retailers. As retailers, we wear many hats and are working hard to balance all the tasks of running a business. The goal of each issue of Creative Retailer is to curate topics and business experts that together can help your business move forward. Your time is valuable, and when you finally find time to sit down, we want you to pick up an issue and expand your knowledge.
Beyond the pages of the magazine, we bring discussions alive in our monthly Round Table meetings. My philosophy has always been if I know something that would be helpful to you, I’m glad to share it. When I heard John Maxwell use the phrase, I’d rather be a river than a reservoir, I immediately clung to those words.
Talking business with others can be inspiring. It can be confirming. It can be eye-opening. The team here at Creative Retailer is dedicated to uncovering information critical to running your business and passing it along to you. Our Round Table discussions give retailers a chance to share their knowledge and tackle their challenges with a supportive team.
This month, you’ll find us attending h+h americas in Chicago, where we want to meet more retailers and manufacturers. Stop by booth 633 and say hello, attend our Meet Up from noon to 1 p.m. June 22, and check out our Main Stage event at 1:30 p.m. June 23. We want to get to know you and find out more about how we can help you be successful.
